I found this beautiful shop many years ago, and I'm always drawn to it. The music, the colors, the atmosphere, everything about it, is splendorous. Just off the Albert Cuypmarket and you are in another place, enamelware heaven! Besides carrying plenty of enamelware from many places like Ghana, Poland, China and Holland, they also have beads, music, rugs, and baskets for sale. Behind the counter is Roberto, the nicest man to have a conversation with on a rainy afternoon! What more can you ask for?
Is there something that you would love to have in big amounts if money or space were no object?
Happy Collecting!
Giova
P.S: Oh, and if your curious about what music was playing the day I was there; it is from Kanda Bongo Man from his King of Kwassa Kwassa album!
REMEMBER THERE IS STILL TIME FOR THE GIVEAWAY!!
A mi no me importa no tener espacio... Yo creo que de ese sitio,

I also love boxes, so much that I forget what I have in each and then I have to open all of them to find what it is I'm looking for!!
Soñar no cuesta nada!!
DeleteIf money, space and moving so much around the world was not a problem for me I would definitely go for having as many books as I could. I love books. I love reading them once, twice and as many times as possible. I like to classify them in my bookshelf depending on my mood. Sometimes I use their size, some other times their color or according to how much I enjoyed the reading. I am almost an addict.
ReplyDeleteDuring Gianni's visit to London, she revealed me a secret: You don't choose books,, the books get to choose you. This means I am quite popular among them. I can't get into a bookshop and come out with my hands empty.
I love books as well, but I've started to give them away because they were just too many! Now I just think someone is enjoying and appreciating them. Lately I'm classifying them by author, meaning all the Kurt Vonnegut's and all the Benedetti's are in their own little place!
