A Craft Store in Amsterdam - Zaailing

This is the kind of store I call a "miscellany." A place that has all sorts of things. Sometimes they don't even make sense, but you just wonder around because surely you "need" something they have, be it yarn, felt, Schleich toys for your kids, color pencils, books, baby clothes, socks, postcards, they even carry Weleda, and Dr. Haushka products. It feels like a supermarket in a way, you go there because you know for sure they'll have it there. I for one, needed one of those stripy felt balls!

Zaailing is located at Ruysdaelstraat 21 and is open from tuesday to saturday from 9 to 6.
