Creative Mess

I can't seem to keep my messes to a minimum, just as I'm incapable of multi-tasking (and I mention this because again this week I was supposed to do somethings for the blog and I just kept embroidering).

Whenever I'm doing things, be it paper crafts, writing letters or embroidering I'm quite unable to keep the mess to a particular area. How about you? Can you keep it contained and to a minimum?

In this case it seems it is contained to the sofa (the entire sofa to be clear), but the reality of my house is very different. Oh, to be able to multi-task (clean the house while embroidering, or make this months post while embroidering).

I like how creative people work, and the little messes they make (that was the main reason for my crafty series). The pictures below are from the workshop in France, aren't this contained messes incredible?

Don't forget that there is still time to enter the last giveaway - with some of my very favorite things- with many little presents that you can either keep for yourself or give them away to your friends (Christmas is coming really soon).

I wish you a most wonderful weekend.

  4. I love a good creative mess!! They say that the messier the workshop of an artist, the more creative he/she is. Not sure if it's true, but either way your mess looks great (and you only stayed on the couch, no mess on the ground/around!). And I guess multitasking is overrated, it's good to concentrate on 1 thing and do it well ;)
