I was doing some rubber stamps when my husband said; "Do you want to stay in?" And this is a question that is also asked very few times and quite far in between. Oh, to be able to stay in with the blissful silence of an empty place for a few hours.
But the sound and sights of the beautiful forest was what I really needed.
And boy was it magical and inspiring. The only thing missing were the gnomes. But I'm pretty certain they were somewhere around.
Dark mushrooms in a dark place, with the rays of the sun just coming in.
We walked, and walked, and looked and looked.
We also sat on a bench, and stared at the big KLM plane flying to who knows where.
And then discovered more varieties of mushrooms.
This one is a coral mushroom, I think.
I guess it is pretty obvious what I did when I got back.
So tell me, if you are not too busy crafting, how do you manage your time? Do you have a set time for crafting, or do you simply go with the flow, taking advantage when inspiration strikes?
Have a lovely day.

You did well, Gio. I went biking on Sunday, 21 km around Greifensee, a small lake. It was wonderful. When I got home, crafting was even better. So something will be leave by snail mail.....
ReplyDeleteThank you! The fresh air really invigorates you doesn't it? Your trip around the lake sounds really lovely.
Deletesomething will be leaving by snail mail ....
ReplyDeletewow, look at all those mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteI like to do crafty things in the evenings, especially as it's getting dark earlier and cooler, I like to be inside and cosy

In the evening sounds quite cozy, but unfortunately for me I can only work with day light. I think I would be more productive if I could work at nights but I can't ;(
DeleteQue espectaculo de naturaleza!!!! Que fotos tan bellas!!! Y que momentos inolvidables... Me encanta.
ReplyDeleteLa naturaleza es siempre un espectáculo, el poblema es que la gente anda muy afanada!
DeleteIf there is no deadline.....go with the flow, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI need to get out of the "needing permission" stage - which is something I have never understood about myself. Why must I have to have permission to do what I do for a living? ...grrrrrrrrr.....
Your walk through the forest was beautiful! Thanks for sharing it. I am certain that the gnomes were just out of sight. I don't think they like to have photos taken....
The guys on the bridge - nice one....
Missing you. Would love to be closer to play with you on a regular basis.
XO
I think the permission part comes with the mother role for some reason, and then guilt and so on and so forth. Men don't really have any of those or do they?
DeleteI miss you too! Oh to be able to craft with you on a regular basis! I'll dream of that ;)
I think I have a solution to the problem, go outside and craft:)

Oh, that would be lovely if the weather was nice and the kids were all grown up ;) But unfortunately I have to pick only one!
