I'm thinking I will be starting a new habit. To visit (if possible), post office museums. I don't know why I never searched for them before, I've loved writing letters ever since I was quite little. The one in Budapest sparked something in me, so of course I couldn't miss the one in Copenhagen.
Unfortunately I only had 45 minutes to wander around in here, but I'm glad I got to see it.
Beautifully organized, with an amazing collection of mail boxes, stamps and all sorts of carriages used for the transportation of letters.
They have workshops for kids, and adults (like me), a wonderful gift shop, a rooftop cafe with an amazing view of the city. What more can you ask for? Oh, and it is free!!!
The Post and Tele Museum is open everyday from 10am to 4pm, and it is located in Kobmagergade 37,
1150 Copenhagen.
Have a great day, and I hope you enjoyed this little tour of this wonderful museum.

You welcome, and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. What an incredible place it is!
DeleteSe ve divino!!! Y la vista espectacular! Me encanta la ilustracion del artista!!! Son como museos hechos para vos!
ReplyDeleteLos cuadros son gigantescos, ese era solo un mini pedazo.
DeleteLa proxima vez me quedo mas tiempo ahí ;)
Gosh these Scandinavians, even their mail sacks look cool. I've seen the old NL Post mail sacks used to upholster furniture here, and somehow they don't look as nice as these ones!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I like these sacks much better, than the ones here for some weird reason.
