Is there such a thing? I doubt it. At least not in the fashion magazines I read.
In a bit more than a week I'll be heading to Salt Lake City, for the Alt Summit. It is a three day blogging conference with parties every night. I'm not a "party" person, not even a conference one. So when I got the schedule about all the things that are going to happen, I had to turn myself into fashion mode. How do you turn a switch on when it has been off for quite awhile?
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE fashion. I have a weakness for bags and white shirts. I like looking at fashion in magazines. And I dream (a girl can dream, can't she?) to be invited to a CHANEL show one day.
The images above are my every day uniform. Certainly Chanel won't invite me looking like this, even if the stripes became fashionable because of Mademoiselle Coco.
And the above images, yes you guessed it right, are my sister's uniform. She loves colors and accessorizing.
So my question is: What do I take to a fashion conscious conference when my wardrobe is mostly jeans and T-shirts? Well, it has been a bit fun looking in my closet for things to take. So far the only purchase I've made is a 5 euro belt. Phewww, our first fashion post, haha! Wait for the second installment when I actually show you what I wore to the conference.
Have a great Sunday, and may the force be with you, and me!
Giova.

ReplyDeleteFashion for comfort is definitely an important balance, especially when it comes to practical everyday choices like T-shirts and jeans. It’s great to see how personal style can blend both comfort and casual chic. I love integrating custom pieces like screen printing T-shirts into my wardrobe they're perfect for adding a unique and personal touch while staying comfy
