Food & Souvenirs

I restrain myself from showing pictures of food because lets face it, I'm not that great of a photographer of food. In my opinion taking pictures of food is quite complicated. I always think these pictures end up looking like I was eating something very different than what I'm actually putting in my mouth.
But I think food is such an important part of the traveling experience that I'm going to show you anyway. Here are some of my most memorable meals while in Florida. I am missing a picture of a sublime blackened grouper burger with the best fries ever, but you can't have them all!

Top row is from Cracker Barrel, the best pancakes!! Below are from Jaxson's, that rocky road
sundae with melted marshmallow sauce and hot fudge was out of this world.

The best Pupusas ever from Mi Carnal in St. Augustine.

I love kitschy cakes and Publix makes them delicious!!!

Oh! And souvenirs, there is always something that needs to be brought back!
Crafts from Michael's (do I really need more crafts?), a bunting from Petite Alma,
a dress from Old Navy, a sweater from J.Crew and some shells (free of charge).

Do you agree that food is such an important part of the traveling experience? What has been your most memorable trip where food took an important role, I'd love to know?

Have a great Sunday!
