Tulip Season

I know I said on wednesday that I was taking a break, but I just wanted to share with you these tulips, daffodils, and hyacinth fields. It only happens once a year and for a very short period of time

This is one of my favorite reasons to be living in this country and every year I eagerly wait for them, as you can see here and here.

So for now I do say my goodbye and wish you a wonderful, colorful spring,
Giova

  2. That is so gorgeous. I have to come and see for myself one of these days. Eva and Chloe are really sad that they won't see you this week (me too of course). Seriously, they adore you!

  3. I wonder that your country does not smell the best in all the world. All those lovely blooms.

    1. The hyacinths smell from miles, the tulips not so much, or maybe it is too subtle and I can't detect it. My sense of smell is not very acute.

  5. I at first thought you lived near me, because the beautiful tulip fields are just a short cycle away. I live between Seattle and Vancouver, BC, but I now realize you are in the Netherlands. It looks just the same, here where I live beside a dike in the lowlands. Wishes from across the sea!
